Rkatsiteli is a dry, white wine, produced from specially selected Rkatsiteli grapes using the traditional method from the Georgian village of Manavi, located in the Georgian Caucasus region of Kakheti. Fermented for 6 months in clay jugs (qvervi), the wine turns into an amber or light golden color. The full-bodied wine is rich with tannins. Characterized by ripe fruits, dried fruits notes and a jam taste. The finish lingers with light acidity balancing the fruity sweetness. Food Pairing: Baked and roasted meat, cheese.
