Mtsvane is a dry, white wine, produced from Kakhetian Mtsvane grapes using the traditional method employed by the villagers of Manavi in the ancient, wine-growing region of Kakheti, located in the Georgian Caucasus region. The wine is fermented in clay jugs (qvevri) and stored for 5 months, then completed to maturity in oak barrels for 4 months. The wine is light golden, dense and unfiltered and is characterized by a strong aroma, and complex flavor of exotic fruits, as well as a clear taste of cinnamon and cacao. Food Pairing: Meat, pork, and cheese. BEST SERVED AT +10°-12°C (+50°-54° F).
